Successful affiliate marketing is not about putting up an ad or directing someone with a link to a page, sitting back or snoozing and waiting for the commission to come along. Its never going to happen! This basically means do the simple things first. Try just adding a few text links in your posts or websites to see if you gain any results before trying to incorporate loads of banners. Readers don't want to be loaded with advertisements as they will just click off. Not to mention it doesn't look professional.

To be successful at affiliate marketing you first need to have the traffic. There is no point in having some amazing affiliate ads for no one to visit your website. Its very pointless.
